After a massively exciting third place finish in last year’s prestigious Lipton Cup, we are once again putting our support behind the young and spirited ‘Team Intasure Marine Insurance.’

With Andrea Giovanni at the helm of this winning combination, we recognize and salute a like-minded passion to achieve and deliver only the best. After all, it is this sense of commitment that leads us to success, whatever our goal.

The Traditional Boat Association has entered the Lipton cup once again. They have sailed in this event for a few years now. The team which has sailed together for some time is all under the age of 17, except the skipper. “Team Escape / Ekoenergysa.com” will be skippered by Rodney Tanner.

Rodney has been sailing since he was six years old on Oppies at Z.V.Y.C. He has sailed this regatta seven times, Although this will be his fourth time as skipper. Rodney still sails dinghies, (Extra), but has a lot of experience on J27’s and L26’s.

This is the third year Team Macnificent Hitachi, a junior team from the Milnerton Aquatic Club is sponsored by Hitachi.
