Recently the port authorities have advised management that parking will only be permitted outside RCYC on the rail way side of the road. In the past members/guests would park on the red line along the club side of the road. Please be advised that this will no longer be permitted. Anyone found to be parking on the other side of the road will be “managed” by the port Authorities. Please be reminded if you require parking for your boat/trailor please contact CTBI Tel 021 447 6541 Elliot Basin. No trailers or boats will be stored in the RCYC boat yard or car park!

At 17h00 on Saturday 21st teams to all assemble in the Main Hall at Royal Cape Yacht Club. The order of the parade will be Defender, followed by the Challengers in alphabetical order for ease of announcing your Club. One team member will carry their burgee on a flag pole (RCYC will provide flag poles). Another should carry the water, Crews will proceed to the Regatta Centre, planting their Club Burgee in the holder provided and pouring a small quantity of water into a Ceremonial Bowl for the “Mixing of the Waters” and “Blessing of the Fleet”.
